Kyleen Davis, NP

Kyleen-Davis-derm-np Kyleen Davis is an accomplished ANCC Board-certified nurse practitioner with a wealth of clinical experience spanning over 18 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, where she received recognition for her exceptional study of biology through the Weber-Taylor scholarship and the Dean’s Citation for academic excellence and leadership. Ms. Davis furthered her education by graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, San Francisco, earning a Master of Science in Nursing.

Before joining our office, Ms. Davis served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and led a clinical research study at the Lombardi Cancer Center. Her dedication to research and lifelong learning led her to accept the position of Associate Editor for the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. Additionally, she was honored with the Mentoring Editors Award by the esteemed International Academy of Nursing Editors. Ms. Davis has published numerous articles in various medical journals and recently launched a successful skin cancer column to support nurse clinicians in reviewing the diagnosis and treatment of different skin cancers.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Davis enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and their dog. She has a passion for playing the piano, baking gourmet treats, and engaging in her book club.

Joan Pohutsky DNP, CRNP

Joan Pohutsky DNP, CRNP Joan Pohutsky is a board-certified nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University in Chicago, IL, graduating with honors. She completed her residency in dermatology and primary care and her practicum in hematology/oncology. Joan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Loyola University Chicago, graduating with honors. She completed her nursing residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, working in the surgical intensive care unit. She returned to Chicago to begin her graduate studies while simultaneously working in the surgical and cardiovascular thoracic intensive care unit at Rush University Medical Center, later transitioning to the dermatology clinic as lead Mohs/surgical nurse. Joan practiced as a dermatology nurse practitioner at Rush University Medical Center before returning back to practice in Maryland, treating hundreds of patients since then.

Joan currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Dermatology Nurses Association and is President of the Wisconsin/Illinois Chapter. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and Order of Omega honor societies.

Joan is passionate about providing excellent medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care by emphasizing preventative skin health, and creating individualized plans to help patients feel and look their best. When not in clinic, she enjoys traveling, live music and spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dog.

Laura Monaghan, PA-C, MSM

Laura Monaghan Laura Monaghan is a NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish from The University of Virginia, where she was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma and Order of Omega honor societies. She then went on to attend the Emerging Leaders Program at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she graduated with her Master of Medical Science and Master of Science in Management degrees. She completed her elective clinical rotation in general dermatology and enjoys bringing her passions for dermatology and personalized patient care to the Dermatologic Surgery Center of Washington.

During her time at Wake Forest, Laura served as MSM class president and volunteered at the student-led local free clinic, DEAC. She wrote and defended her graduate thesis on the role of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) as a Moderator for Type 2 Diabetes in the Black US population. Today, she is an active member of the Society for Dermatology PAs as well as the American Academy of PAs. In her free time, Laura enjoys reading, long runs, and spending time with her friends and family.

Caroline Glick PA-C, MPH

Caroline-Glick-PA-C,-MPHCaroline Glick is a Physician Assistant at the Dermatologic Surgery Center of Washington and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Caroline’s areas of expertise include acne, eczema, hair loss, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancer. She is also skilled in cosmetic procedures such as neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, and laser treatments. Additionally, Caroline is a Clinical Instructor at the George Washington University and regularly lectures on dermatologic topics. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Caroline has been practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology as a physician assistant since 2013. Previously, she worked at the National Institutes of Health where she did clinical research on pediatric obesity.

Caroline graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her Master of Public Health and Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the George Washington University.

Caroline prides herself on compassionate care and taking the time to truly understand patient needs. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and spending time with her family and friends.
